Why can't I see compensation details in a worker profile even with the right security access?
Problem
Security groups are configured correctly, but the Compensation tab is still missing from the worker profile.
Solution
Nine times out of ten this is a profile configuration issue, not a security issue. Open Configure Profile, choose Worker Profile, and confirm Compensation is checked under Display in Profile.
When a compensation section disappears from the worker profile, most teams start by auditing domain security policies. That is a reasonable instinct, but the profile display configuration is a separate layer that overrides what a user can see even when their security access is perfect.
Run the Configure Profile task, select Worker Profile, and review the Display in Profile column. If Compensation is unchecked, the tab will not render for anyone. Check it, submit the change, and then confirm the compensation report is shared and linked to the correct Compensation Profile Group.
Finally, validate with a proxy session as an affected user. If the tab appears for you but not for them, you are back to a security domain question: check Worker Data: Compensation by Organization and the matching security group assignment, then activate pending security policy changes.
