Integration suddenly fails after a tenant refresh — where do I start?

Problem

A previously stable EIB or Studio integration begins failing right after a sandbox refresh.

Solution

Refreshes reset endpoints, credentials, and ISU passwords. Rebuild the integration attachment chain in this order: ISU, endpoint, launch parameters, then reference IDs.

A tenant refresh copies production configuration into your sandbox, which means integration credentials and endpoints often point at the wrong place or get invalidated entirely. Failures that look like logic bugs are usually connectivity or authentication issues.

Start by resetting the Integration System User password and confirming the ISU is not locked and has Do Not Allow UI Sessions enabled. Next, review the integration system attachment and update any endpoints that still reference production URLs or SFTP directories.

Then re-check launch parameters and default values, since date launch parameters frequently carry over stale values. Finally, validate any reference IDs used in your mapping — an ID that exists in production may not exist in your refreshed sandbox yet.
